Tips for you: What would you do with these papers?

Hello,

What would you do with these papers?  I mean the large images in a 12x12 designer series paper.  You may have these ones once you bought a pack of designer series papers.  I like to share what I did and how I made my cards out of them.

Depends on the image, of course, you will decide which direction to cut.

First I cut them sized 5 1/2"x12" and into the following sizes:
(2) of 5 1/2"x4 1/4" (this will cover your card base completely), and
(1) of 5 1/2"x 3 1/2"(which is the rest of cut) as shown in photos below.

Here is another designer series paper. (Note: For this paper, I cut (3) of 5 1/2"x4 1/4".)

Here is one more.

And these are my cards that I made out of the first designer series paper.  I just added a sentiment and a butterly. What do you think?

I am entering this week's OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge - make masculine themed cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Well done Seongsook! I have done this in the past with some papers obviously intended for scrapbook pages and have also found with a little forethought you can make some very nice, and relatively simple to make cards. Your photos are a great demonstration of the concept!

  8. You are a marvel, my Dear. I accidentally came across your blog looking at the One Sheet Wonder. I think it may have been whilst I was pinning away on Pinterest. Then one thing lead to another and I found so many excellent ideas that I am creating Boards for myself with your fabulous ideas. Thanks again for sharing with us out in Card Making Land.
