OWH bloghop - Top 13 of 2013

http://operationwritehome.org/starsandstamps/

Year 2013.  It was such a dramatic year for me when I look back. I can not believe how fast it passed though. Good thing is that no matter what life goes on. I am so grateful that I was blessed to be understood, confident, and happy after all learning curves. As my coworker reminded me of that I am ESL resident here, I rather treat myself kindly and go with the flow. At least I am getting better, right?

Today I want to share my cards for OWH bloghop -Top 13 of 2013.  OWH cardmaking is my therapy and cards for our heroes to connect with their loved ones.  My therapy, Your cards!

JOYFUL Christmas WISHES

These cards are stepped up by adding layers. I like that 1/16" border turned out looking nice.

Merry Christmas ornament card

I made 3"x3" sized cards for my coworkers. Although it was small sized cards, it took almost the same efforts to put. I think it's a good start to make it as a focal point for even regular sized cards once it's done. Hope they will like it.

Tip #4 Washi Tape

Keep washi tape with a small piece of cardstock strip at the end. It's easy to find where to pull. Please do not forget that back on to the end of tape for next time.

Casing

I made this card this morning by casing a card from the Holiday catalog by my coworker's request. Why haven't I think about that? Isn't Creation is casing something no matter what from the Art of God's Original Work? I love how it turned out.

Tip #3 Magnetic Platform

Tip #3
I put masking tape on both end of the Magnetic Platform and clear plate. It holds up both plates together and prevents an "accident."
