Hello!
Welcome to the first Operation Write Home Blog Skip. If you are from Handmade By Paula, you are on the right track. If not, please start from Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps.
For this skip, I received a kit from Barb a few weeks ago that was contained a stamped image and 4 different patterned papers. (I did the colored image in this picture.) The assignment was to create a Spring/Easter card by using this kit. Everyone who participates (10 people) will create a card with the same kit provided. It will be interesting to see how everyone's card turns out.
Here is my card.
How I made
- Picked three colors based on the striped patterned paper - Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, and Lavendar Lace.
- Colored the stamped image with matching Copics.
- Used OWH S&S Sketch #41 for the card layout and measurements. (See below.)
- Layered patterned papers on each matching colored cardstocks.
- Raised the focal image with SU dimensionals.
- Added a sentiment from the {stamps} of life's Burnny4Easter stamp set. Punched out with SU punches.
I hope you to enjoy and get inspired during this skip and encourage you to join the Operation Write Home Bunny Hop March 5th. Signups are open to everyone. From my experiences so far, I can tell you that you will find a lot of inspirations from the fellow OWH Cardmakers and learn new techniques and the tips.
Your next stop of this skip is Cora Jean's Paper Playtime. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a blessed day!
